Admissions

To be admitted into the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program,

  • Have completed an undergraduate or master's degree in a relevant or related field, such as Engineering, Mathematics, or the Physical, Chemical and Biological Sciences, with satisfactory grades.
  • Meet the admission criteria specified in the descriptions of the doctoral program, particularly the match between the research topic and the degrees.

Application

For a complete application, applicants are asked to submit:

  • The CV (2 pages maximum);
  • Research publications or patents, if any;
  • Cover letter indicating relevant extracurricular activities, if any;
  • Academic records: certified copies of diplomas (with detailed transcripts);
  • A certified copy of the identity card and/or passport;
  • 2 letters of recommendation;
  • The research project proposal (2 - 3 pages): write the research proposal (2 to 3 pages) on the subject specifying its perimeter, the research problems and hypotheses, the theoretical and conceptual field of investigation, the potential benefits for UM6P, Morocco or Africa.

The review committee will verify that the proposed project matches the applicant's background and experience, then rank the applications according to their excellence and invite the highest ranked applicants to an interview (oral presentation and/or written test).

Important :

  • Each candidate can only apply for a maximum of 2 subjects.
  • The decision of the admission committee is communicated to the candidates by the CEDoc.

Registration fees and scholarships

Throughout their studies, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic provides doctoral students with a monthly grant of 10,000Dh per month.

Each academic year, a fee of 10 000 MAD must be paid, at registration, by transfer or payment to the bank account of the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic.

For scholarship students, the registration fee will be deducted directly from their scholarship according to the terms and conditions.
