International Research and Innovation Seminar

UM6P and Foundation Ibn Rochd have been at the forefront of fostering academic excellence, and research in Morocco and beyond. Their scholarship programs and unwavering support have played a vital role in nurturing the talents of brilliant Moroccan students, guiding them on their academic journey from CPGE to Grandes Ecoles and leading international universities. Simultaneously, they have cultivated an environment of cutting-edge research and technological innovation.

One noteworthy example of these scholarship programs is the UM6P International PhD Program. It serves as a testament to the commitment of both institutions to create a welcoming research environment, providing mentoring, scientific support, and fellowship for students aspiring to pursue an academic career.

These combined efforts have begun to bear fruit, resulting in the emergence of a novel ecosystem of successful academics, researchers, and industrials, both within the country and on the global stage. This thriving ecosystem comprises three key components:

Faculty members and PhD students excelling in top-tier international universities, such as MIT, Columbia, Stanford, cornell, McGill and LBS.

Dedicated faculty and researchers based at UM6P.

The International Research and Innovation Seminar (IRIS) aims to leverage the strengths and potential of this ecosystem. Its primary objective is to facilitate the convergence of these diverse talents and expertise, fostering meaningful research collaborations and encouraging entrepreneurial ventures.

IRIS Objectives:

IRIS Analytics serves as a dynamic platform that fosters meaningful connections and collaborations among researchers, industry professionals, and entrepreneurs, creating essential bridges in various domains and skills:

Between researchers from top-tier international universities and UM6P researchers.

The seminar encompasses a set of well-defined objectives, aimed at maximising the impact of the event:

Facilitating Knowledge Exchange: The seminar offers a unique opportunity for participants to share and explore the latest research papers and groundbreaking work in diverse pluri-disciplinary fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Operations Management, Agriculture Analytics and Food Supply Chain, among others.
Showcasing UM6P Research Activities and Laboratories: Attendees will gain insights into the cutting-edge research activities and state-of-the-art laboratories at UM6P, providing a comprehensive understanding of the institutions' research capabilities and potential for collaboration.
